Public transportation

Public transportation (suburban railway, metro and buses) is available 24 hours a day from the Athens International Airport to the city centre, the greater Athens- Attica area and the ports.

Athens offers comfort, speed and punctuality. Drilling its tunnels brought up the biggest archeological excavation in Athens (79,000m2) which resulted in more than 50,000 findings dated from the New Stone Age to more contemporary periods. Some of the findings along with works of distinct artists are exhibited in the main metro stations. For more information about timetables, antiquities and art, visit : www.amel.gr
