“Gardens of Athens”

The main objective of the program is to highlight the gardens of the city as the meeting points of the world of arts and culture in general (including ecology) to ordinary citizens, especially young people and children. Other objectives are: the promotion of new artists, their acquaintance and cooperation, the interaction of different arts, and the support given by institutions of social solidarity as well as the qualitative upgrading of the gardens themselves, the integrating of marginalized individuals in artistic network groups and perhaps the long-term creation of cultural goodwill that may bring to the gardens the interest of tourists again.
The “Athens Garden Festival” aims to be institutionalized and to be placed among the international major festivals, which will give to the city of Athens extra tourism value during June.

The event is finished.
