Syngrou avenue connects Athens’ city centre with Piraeus and the south suburbs. Andianos Gate “works” both ways as a gate to the city centre and also as a gate to Syngrou avenue which is the city’s exit to the sea. Is a highway with 4 lanes for each direction and it’s only 5 km long but has many sideways and underpasses for the public. Syngrou avenue is an interesting commercial, business and cultural centre. Many international hotel brands operate in the area (Intercontinental, Marriott, Metropolitan), international companies house their offices, the new National Museum of Contemporary Art is constructed, the Cultural Centre “Stegi” of Onassis Foundation operates there, also Planetarium of Eugenides Foundation and Onassis Cardiac Surgery Centre. The Syngrou Avenue complex will be at its best in 2015 when the new Opera House, the new National Library and a metropolitan park area will be completed, funded by Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

Syngrou avenue is a main road of Athens (connecting city centre with the coastal area) thus the access is easy by private cars, Taxis, busses, TRAM and METRO line (up to Syngrou-Fix metro station). Syngrou avenue leads both to Athens Riviera and Piraeus Port (the biggest in the country).

Syngrou area gathers both small and large hotel units which can guarantee well-organised events. Meetings, conferences, incentives of any scale can be hosted in every hotel separately or in combinations with different hotels, due to the proximity of the units. State-of-the-art technological equipment and specialised staff ensure the success of any high quality event. Hotels excel in quality in terms of catering, business lunches, dinners, cocktails offered in stylish halls, restaurants and roof-gardens with breathtaking view and prepared by awarded chefs.
